I’m usually pretty resilient to opponents trying to convince me to snap with emotes
I have nothing against people who emote spam either, it’s just that every now and then… You kinda get a sense that they aren’t being all that innocent.

This dude wanted me to snap. I don’t know if they were just donating cubes on purpose… But word to the wise… If you have the cards they had on nexus and your next play is onslaught… Don’t snap…

The opponent will 100% play something with better synergy.

You can’t even play odin on top of that coz cmthe carnage would just eat all of them and become 8 power.

Not sure what they were thinking.

But it felt good to win.

In other news, I swapped arnim zola out from this deck and replaced him with Magneto. I honestly don’t know why I didnt do this already magneto is pretty perfect because if you don’t draw task or hulk you’ll be pretty likely to have mag. If you don’t ever draw any of them you shud consider maybe retreating unless you can do something nuts with Shuri and sunspot but yeah. You can place him under invisible woman, or have him be a back up with admittedly less power for hulk, and have your task copy him. Guess it just helps to look and try to judge what the opponents overall score is.. The strongest you can get hulk to is about 35 or so with this deck, that’s using Shuri and saving energy on almost every turn

Some turns you have to weigh up saving the energy versus playing a card like electro or professor x. The cards that cost all of your energy are worth not buffing hulk that turn on a lot of occasions.

Electro and Magik in particular, as they’ll both help with Hulk’s ramp through the game by increasing maximum energy and extending the game so hulk has an additional turn to proc.

Magneto’s on reveal can sometimes shoot yourself in the foot if you’re not careful, but a core aspect to this deck is saving energy and thinking a turn in advance, so if you just apply that mindset to magneto as well, you can use him to great effect. Not to mention his on reveal is also very useful when used at the right time. Just like Xavier. I had realised that task and hulk were capable of winning 2 locations pretty well, but sometimes it could be hard to decide where to place hulk, like for a tie breaker or just an occasion where the opponent might be able to beat hulk and the location I’m not playing into. Professor X takes that option away and sort of streamlines the process for me.

Professor x can sometimes also produce snappable conditions even if the location he’s in, is losing. Because task and hulk are just that powerful.

Armour is in the deck for obvious reasons, though a lot of the time you can avoid the need for armour by trying to make sure you don’t have priority by the final turn. Usually the case when task into invisible woman is usually the penultimate play u wanna make.

Enchantress and rogue can hurt you but the most damage they can do is at the end. If they hit you with an early enchantress or rogue, it’s possible to still recover with Electro and Magik allowing you to play more than 1 6 cost in the game.

Anyway, that’s the basis.

This opponent should not have snapped.
