Had the first idea for this type of deck a couple of months ago, the idea being to find a use for Kingpin that doesn’t rely on you using him to kill the opponent’s cards, but rather your own. There’s a version of this you can build with Heimdall where Bucky is more useful, but for this one, I’ve taken out bucky and heimdall for Venom and Arnim Zola, just so that there’s a bit more options for Nimrod if I can’t pull off this Kingpin combo.

Ghost Spider is a great addition to this deck, as it now allows for an additional method of moving Nimrod onto Kingpin. Although With Zabu in the mix, you should still view ghost spider as secondary to doctor strange in this regard. Zabu allows you to play wong into Shuri into nimrod into kingpin and Doctor strange in the final turn, sending twenty power Nimrods across the board. Alternatively, provided nimrod is the strongest card on the board, you can play an early kingpin and use doctor strange later on him and it still works.

If you want to use Ghost Spider, you have to remember she will only move the last card you played, and kingpin will only destroy a moved card if he’s already revealed, meaning you can’t use kingpin AND ghost spider on the same turn. So what you have to do is get kingpin out early. This will mean you can’t use wong on Shuri, however you can use ghost spider, wolverine and Carnage all at the same turn for a little extra power.

It’s a fun deck that can catch people out, I’m still tinkering with it though as I feel like there’s like… A piece missing, I’ve tried a version of it with destroyer too which can work especially with wong involved. But currently I’m opting for zola as the 6 cost. Feel free to mess around with it yourself though,
